Once Dr. Sheth has closed up the area bacteria will not be able to enter preventing the tooth from further decay. This doesn&rsquo;t mean that<strong>\u00a0you can&rsquo;t stop brushing and flossing though.<\/strong>\u00a0Without proper hygiene habits decay can come back.<\/p>\n<h3>What Are Fillings Made Of?<\/h3>\n<p>Fillings are made of different types of materials. There are gold fillings, silver fillings (AKA) amalgam, composite resin fillings and porcelain fillings.\u00a0<strong>Dr. Sheth will recommend the best type of material for your filling.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>How Do I Know I Need A Filling?<\/h3>\n<p>That&rsquo;s the million-dollar question! You don&rsquo;t always know when you need one.
