Facial implants<\/a> are usually made from a solid form of silicone called silastic. These implants are used to help shape and enhance certain parts of the face like the cheeks and chin. The unique thing about facial implants is that they can be different shapes and sizes to help create the perfectly-shaped contour for your facial structure.<\/p>\nHow is Surgery Performed?<\/h2>\n
Typically, we will perform this surgery under intravenous sedation. Once you are sedated, we will then usually make incisions inside of the mouth just behind the cheek which allows us to place implants in your face without you having to deal with incisions.<\/p>\n
