There is a surgical option.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Correcting gynecomastia involves a specialized surgery that reduces breast size, thereby flattening and enhancing the contours of the chest. This surgery is also called a \u201c<em>reduction mammaplasty.<\/em>\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are physically healthy, your breast development has stabilized and you are embarrassed by the size of your breasts, you would be a good candidate for surgery.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The procedure is performed as an outpatient procedure, using tiny incisions and is usually done without general anesthesia. The condition can sometimes be improved with liposuction alone. Dr. Price will give you instructions for caring for your incisions and the healing process.
