Dr. Don Mungcal
Dr. Don Mungcal is a native of the Los Angeles area and loves serving his community with excellent dental care. Raised in San Fernando Valley, he completed undergrad studies at UCLA and then graduated with honors at the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. Following dental school he also served as an instructor at the USC Dental School.
Within a few short years, Dr. Mungcal established his own private practice right in downtown Los Angeles. Years later, he opened Manhattan Beach Dental Solutions with the same purpose and quality of care. He has been honored as a Best Dentist in Downtown in “Los Angeles Downtown News” multiple times (including another win in 2021)!
Dr. Mungcal stays informed of cutting-edge dental technologies and techniques through constant participation in the California Dental Society. He is also a member of several prestigious dental organizations. He stays up-to-date with the latest in dental implants, general dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry advancements by investing hundreds of hours in continuing education courses each year. Dr. Gracie Castillo
Dr. Gracie Castillo hails from Santa Cruz, California. With six years of practice in the Los Angeles area, Dr. Castillo enjoys educating her patients on the importance of obtaining optimal oral health. She challenges herself by learning new techniques and continuing her education with advanced training courses in restorative dentistry. She completed her degree in Biological Sciences at University of the Pacific. She attended dental school at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington DC and then moved on to complete a 1 year residency at UCLA.
Dr. Castillo strives to form lifelong relationships with her patients based on trust, honesty and empathy. She feels lucky to be part of such a hard working team.
In her free time, she enjoys yoga, reading and dining at local small businesses.
