A dental bridge is a prosthetic to replace missing teeth. An artificial tooth is created to replace the missing tooth, which is attached to adjacent teeth or dental implants. For a single missing tooth, crowns are made for the teeth on either side of the missing tooth, with the prosthetic tooth attached between. The entire “bridge” is placed, covering the two adjacent teeth with the dental crowns. The result is three teeth that fit and look natural within your smile, restoring your missing tooth or teeth.

Same Day Dental Bridges

Installing a dental bridge once required two or more appointments over a few weeks. Some more complex dental bridges still require multiple appointments if the bridge must be made at a dental lab. However, Scott A. Babin, DDS and Associates does offer same day dental bridges using our on-site CEREC® technology. We can create the crowns and attach the artificial tooth with our CEREC® software and milling device at our clinic. In a few hours, you can have a new, quality tooth and restored smile with our same day dental bridges.
